Me

My name is Darryl and I am a South African living in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Why am I in Brazil? (You may wonder…) Because I met a beautiful Brazilian in South Africa and I simply had to be where she was. Today we are married!

As soon as I graduated from University, and before moving to Brazil, I worked as a Account Manager and then as a Product Manager at Sony South Africa. After packing my life into a suitcase and moving to Belo Horizonte at the end of 2012, I discovered a new country and a new profession: that of an English teacher!

One of my greatest joys is being able to help people as best I can, especially when I have the knowledge and tools to do so. This is the methodology that I bring to my life and to my classes. I really like to take something that seems complicated, like English grammar, and turn it into a simple concept that anyone can understand and everyone can benefit from.
